Police: Teen Planned Shootout In LoverÂ?s Quarrel 1-04-2011

Michigan State police say a 16-year-old is in a local juvenile detention center after planning to shoot another teen in Sandusky.
The Carsonville teen was arrested Monday evening after troopers responded to a call from the Brookfield Apartment complex in reference to a male with a gun.
Police said the teen was located down the street armed with a loaded .22 pistol.
According to a news release, the teen intended to shoot a male occupant of the apartment over a dissolving relationship with a girlfriend.
Police said no shots were fired and no one was injured.
The incident remains under investigation.
