Help Sought For 2 Bay County Rescue Dogs 1-07-2011

Two Mid-Michigan dogs are in serious need of the public’s help.
Calvin and Faye came to the Half Way Home Canine Rescue from the Bay County Animal Shelter.
Calvin came in with a skin infection and fleas, and vets report those problems have been fixed, but the little guy needs a $1,200 surgery on his hips for a fractured pelvis. Faye needs the same surgery.
The rescue can't adopt the dogs out until they get the surgeries.
Half Way Home Canine Rescue & Training is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of dogs throughout the area.
If you'd like to help, send donations to: Half Way Home Canine Rescue & Training P.O. Box 761 Bay City, MI 48707-0761
The shelter said additional money will be used to offset medical expenses of other dogs in the rescue.
