Home Invasion Results In Medical Marijuana Theft 1-10-2011

Troopers from the Michigan State Police Mount Pleasant post responded to a 911 call of a home invasion in progress on East Deerfield Road in Isabella County’s Union Township.
It happened around 11:25 p.m. on Sunday.
When officers arrived at the scene, the victim stated that three people had kicked open his door and stolen several items, including his medical marijuana.
The victim then gave the troopers a description of the robbers and the getaway vehicle.
A description of the people and the vehicle were then put out on a "be on the lookout" bulletin by the Isabella Central Dispatch.
Police said several items stolen from the victim were also recovered outside the residence during the investigation.
An officer from the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Police Department located the suspect vehicle and detained the occupants for MSP on Broomfield Road., near Summerton in Isabella County.
The people in the vehicle were taken into custody and interviewed at the Mount Pleasant Post regarding the home invasion.
Two adult men were taken to the Isabella County Jail pending arraignment and the third, a juvenile, was apprehended and turned over to his mother.
Police said all the men were from Mount Pleasant.
