Bay County Central Dispatch says a gas line break in Monitor Township has been repaired and the road has reopened to traffic.
The natural gas leak, which was first noticed around 1 p.m. Thursday, was from a 6-inch pipe on Three Mile Road between Midland and Salzburg roads.
Authorities said that section of Three Mile Road was reopened around 3 p.m.
Consumers Energy crews responded to the scene to fix the pipe. The cause of the leak was not disclosed.
