BB Gun Shooter Strikes Again, Causes Damage 1-25-2011

Police in two counties are on the lookout after someone shot out the windows of several businesses over the weekend with a pellet or BB gun.
On Tuesday, workers had to replace glass windows in the Citizens Bank building in downtown Saginaw.
A block away at the Commerce Center, the glass on a door shattered after BBs or pellets penetrating two windows.
Just down Genesee Street, three blocks from downtown, someone fired a similar projectile and hit the windshields of four Saginaw Public School buses.
Saginaw police said they don't know if this latest rash of vandalism is related to the 12 to 15 other air gun-related incidents in Saginaw and Saginaw Township last week, or the 75 incidents in Midland, but that they are definitely hoping for a break in the case.
Midland police said that over the last three months, there have been at least 75 reports of windows being shot at in businesses, homes and cars. They said 30 of those cases have been reported in the past week alone and have caused $14,000 in damages, and they, like Saginaw police, are hoping for a break in the case.
Police in both communities said they don't know if the BB or pellet gun shootings in Midland and Saginaw counties are related, but that there are similarities in both counties.
And while police in Midland do not have a description of a perpetrator, Saginaw police say they are looking for a white man driving a mid-90s dark colored Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am. Anyone with more information is asked to contact authorities at 989-759-1255.
