Landlord Robbed At Gunpoint By 2 Masked Men 1-27-2011

Buena Vista Township Police are looking for a second person involved in an armed robbery that happened last week when a landlord was mugged and shot at.
Police said on Tuesday, Jan. 18, a 75-year-old Saginaw landlord was robbed at gunpoint in Buena Vista after collecting rent from a tenant.
The man told police he was approached by two black males wearing all black clothing and ski masks armed with handguns after leaving a rental home in the 400 block of S. 31st Street.
The man said the robbers took his wallet and an undetermined amount of cash. Buena Vista Township police detective Greg Klecker said the man managed to get into his car and started to leave when the suspects opened fire at his car. Klecker said the man was not injured and drove directly to the police department to report the incident.
Detectives investigating the robbery arrested a 16-year-old late Thursday. Klecker said the teen was questioned and cooperated, revealing the name of a 19-year-old accomplice before being lodged at a juvenile detention facility. Detectives said they recovered a gun and other evidence related to the robbery.
Detectives are looking for his alleged accomplice, nineteen year-old Quinton N. McMurren, who they believe remains in hiding. McMurren has been in contact with detectives promising to cooperate but as of yet has not turned himself in.
The investigation is ongoing and the 16-year-old was charged on Friday with five felony counts including armed robbery, conspiracy and three associated weapons charges.
