2 Teens Injured Following Snowmobile Crash 2-04-2011

Two teenagers were hospitalized after a snowmobile crash Thursday in Gratiot County.
Emergency responders were called just before 2 p.m. to the crash scene on Van Buren Road.
State police said two boys, ages 16 and 17, were with a group of snowmobilers riding across an open field when they encountered a large drainage ditch and crashed.
One victim was flown by helicopter to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw and the other teen was taken by ambulance to the Gratiot Medical Center. They're conditions have not been released.
Police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash and both victims were wearing helmets.
State troopers were assisted by the Alma fire department, MMR and Sumner-Seville Rescue.
Police have not released the names of the victims.
