Trial Order In 1 Of 5 Rapes Linked To Detroit Man 2-04-2011

DETROITA man charged with five rapes in Detroit has been ordered to trial in one of them as a judge hears evidence in a series of attacks that began on New Year's Day.
A Michigan State Police scientist linked Raynard Coleman's DNA to the assaults. Judge Kenneth King also heard Friday from a woman who said she was a victim.
King is hearing the cases one by one. He must decide whether there's probable cause to order trials.
The 31-year-old Coleman faces more than 30 charges, including kidnapping.
Defense lawyer James Galen Jr. says it's a tough case. He acknowledged in court that he's not "real good at this DNA stuff."
In 2009, Coleman was paroled from prison after serving 14 years for attempted murder.
