Snowy Weather Keeping Local Body Shops Busy 2-07-2011

From the dusting the region got on Monday to last week's blizzard, Mother Nature is causing some slick roads and keeping body shops busy.
In fact, one repair shop worker told TV5’s Brian Wood this is the busiest he's ever been.
On Monday, Rick Rizon at Engel's Body Shop put body filler, or bondo, on a Jeep Cherokee to get it back into the shape it used to be.
With all the snow and slick roads Mid-Michigan’s had for the last month, body shops are working hard to keep up with Old Man Winter.
And for area auto body shops, when the weather is bad, business is good.
Meanwhile, if you're one of those people who've been in a crash and may be looking for a new car, you may want to check out an electric.
Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., has proposed a rebate of up to $7,500 at the time of purchase when buying plug-in vehicles. Currently, you can get the incentive only when you file your taxes.
The White House has called for 1 million electric vehicles to be on the nation's roads by 2015.
