Icy Roads Reported North Of Midland Wednesday 2-16-2011

Areas from Midland, points north, and over the Thumb saw a mix of wet snow and drizzle on Wednesday morning as temperatures hovered between 30 and 32 degrees.
These factors led to prime icing conditions between midnight and 10 a.m.
"Although I was not up there to see, and no one sent in pics, I imagine there were patches of a slippery, fine glaze on surfaces," said TV5 Meteorologist Mike Cameron. "Viewers in Midland and Port Austin reported icy conditions via Facebook."
There were at least 10 school closures or delays reported to WNEM.com's school closings list.
TV5 did not have any reports of weather-related crashes as the morning progressed and temperatures steadily rose above freezing.
Wednesday's temperatures should top out in the mid-40s.
