After Surgery, Daisy The Abused Dog Back Home 2-21-2011

TV5 has an update to a story that's been close to the hearts of many viewers.
Daisy, the female boxer dog that was found starving, abused and tied to a tree in Genesee County, is home from the hospital.
She's undergone multiple surgeries at a local veterinary clinic and at Michigan State University’s veterinary school to fix a broken leg and hips.
And nearly all of that was paid for by an outpouring of generosity from Mid-Michiganders.
In fact, the woman who's adopting her says all but a few hundred dollars in costs have been covered.
Daisy's owner Mary Schaap says she's walking and getting physical therapy, but that she is still lean.
