1 Puppy Up For Adoption After 7 Found In Bag 3-01-2011

Last month, seven puppies left for dead in a plastic bag were rescued from a parking lot and taken to a local shelter.
Now, all but one of the pups, nicknamed Bashful, after the Seven Dwarfs, have found new families.
Dopey, Sneezy, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy and Doc were all sent off to good homes.
In February, a man was snowplowing a parking lot in Saginaw when he noticed a plastic bag that was moving next to a Dumpster. Turns out it was the pups, who, as far as the vet can tell, have at least a little bit of boxer in them.
"We didn't find any fleas, or any external parasites at all,” said Animal Alley Veterinary Hospital Dr. John J. VanDaele when the dogs were brought in. “We've wormed them for internal parasites and that night they started eating for us pretty well."
The veterinary team at Animal Alley is hoping someone will want to adopt the remaining puppy.
