Road Still Closed Following Train Derailment 3-02-2011

Even though the mess has been cleaned up, one Bay County street is still shutdown after a train derailment.
Borton Avenue between Third Street and Oakland Drive in Essexville will be closed until Friday.
A train derailed early Monday morning and damaged the tracks.
Bay City police said the train is owned by Saginaw Bay Southern Railroad and was carrying coal. About six cars came off the track.
While the area was briefly reopened, it will now stay closed until the damage to the tracks and road can be repaired.
