City Council OK's $815K Match For I-675 Work 3-07-2011

Saginaw City Council voted in favor of a new plan for more construction on a new Interstate 675 interchange project Monday.
The city will contribute $815,000 toward the $14.6 million project. According to the city, Saginaw’s contribution is a required match.
The work will include adding a northbound exit ramp and a southbound entrance ramp to I-675 at Warren Avenue. Local nearby streets will also see an upgrade.
The rest of the funding will come from the state and federal funds.
The project is expected to begin this spring.
