Lake Levels May Be Lowered In Search For Man 3-08-2011

Search crews could be using a new method in their search for a missing Midland County man.
Monday officials were granted permission to gradually lower the levels of Sanford Lake in hopes of finding 62-year-old Bob Cole.
The lake would be lowered nearly three feet below the current winter draw down level.
The Meridian track and cross country coach went missing Feb. 8 when he went searching for his daughter’s dog.
The dog was found dead Feb. 12 on a pack of ice.
Cole’s truck was located parked on his property along the Tittabawassee River.
