Motorists See Gas Prices Shooting Up To $3.65 3-10-2011

TV5 is getting word from viewers that gas prices across the region have shot up to about $3.65, up 20 to 25 cents.
Some stations have made the switch, while others have not.
CBS is reporting the average household can expect to spend $700 more on gas this year than they did last.
The Energy Department bases its estimate on an annual pump price of $3.61 per gallon and says the annual cost will average more than $3,200 per household.
The agency expects gas to average $3.71 during the summer peak driving season and said there's a 25 percent chance it will top $4 per gallon.
