The Midland Public School District will see some major upgrades this summer.
On Monday, the school board unanimously approved about $1 million in renovations and upgrades to Midland H.H. Dow High School, Siebert Elementary and the Midland Public Schools Administration Center.
Officials said crews will be upgrading electrical panels, lights and ceilings in the two schools and replacing a roof on the administration center.
The project is slated to be completed by the start of the 2011-12 school year.
