Woman Arraigned On Rx Drug Fraud Charges 3-17-2011

A Bay City woman has been arrested, arraigned and lodged in jail on identity theft and prescription drug fraud charges.
Police said Michelle Clarey, 49, got access to doctors' names and Drug Enforcement Administration numbers and then used that information to get prescription drugs.
The Bay City Times reported the drug Clarey obtained was Soma, a muscle relaxant.
Investigators believe the scam had been going on since June of 2006.
Clarey will be back in court in two weeks. She remains jailed on $100,000 bond.
