Man Killed In I-675 Single-Car Rollover Crash 3-18-2011

An Essexville man has died from injuries sustained in an early morning Interstate-675 rollover crash.
Michigan State troopers said the crash happened around 3:15 a.m. Friday near the southbound I-75 entrance ramp, north of the 6-mile marker.
Troopers found a Chevrolet Caprice rolled over with only the driver deceased inside.
When crews arrived, it appeared the driver lost control and the vehicle went through the guardrail in that area and landed in the median near the interchange of the two highways. The 22-year-old man’s name is being withheld pending the notification of his family.
The accident report indicates that a seatbelt was used, but police said it’s unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Troopers said the crash is still under investigation.
