Police Arrest Man Linked To 3 Home Invasions 3-30-2011

Frankenmuth police say they have a 30-year-old Mt. Morris man in custody after a string of home invasions and larcenies Wednesday morning.
Frankenmuth Police Chief Donald Mawrer told TV5 the man drove a stolen car to the Frankenmuth area, where police said he then tried to steal another vehicle at a home on S. Dehmel Road.
Authorities said after he fled the house, he tried to steal another car on Stearns Road and broke the ignition. Investigators said the man then stole items from cars at two homes on Junction Road and then proceeded to steal a vehicle parked in a driveway on Junction.
Police arrested the man as he drove away in that vehicle.
Police said he invaded a total of three homes during the crime spree. His identity has not yet been released.
