Saginaw Doctor Accused Of Distributing Pot 4-11-2011

A Saginaw Township doctor faces accusations that she gave marijuana to patients from a motel room in Oscoda.
The Bay City Times reported Dr. Ruth Buck has apparently been servicing medical marijuana patients from various locations throughout the state.
Buck was arrested again on Thursday on charges of aiding and abetting distribution of marijuana. She will be back in court on April 14.
Buck was charged in June for unlawfully distributing controlled substances.
The charges were levied after the Drug Enforcement Administration asked a federal judge to revoke Buck's bond.
Officials said Buck authorized about 1,900 medical marijuana certificates from the Mid-Michigan Medical Marijuana Clinic in Saginaw.
Last year, the doctor who once practiced in Thomas Township was charged with 32 counts of distributing a controlled substance. According to the indictment, she prescribed more than 1.5 million doses of pain killers like Oxycontin and Vicodin.
