Teachers across the state feeling the crunch as education cuts continue.
More than 300 teaching positions at the Flint Community Schools are on the chopping block.
The Board of Education says the budget is being cut by about $20 million.
The department is expecting fewer students in the classroom next year.
Superintendent Linda Thompson said class sizes are expected to stay around 30 to 35 students per class.
Those pink slips go into effect June 30. Most of the cuts are based on seniority.
