Woman, Puppies Flee House Fire Without Injury 4-15-2011

Firefighters with several departments were called to a mobile home fire in the 1100 block of South Fenmore Road in Saginaw County’s Marion Township.
The fire started around 7:30 a.m. at trailer near Merrill that officials say was used as a chicken coop. The fire then spread to a home that was also destroyed.
One woman and three puppies were inside and all made it out without injuries.
Crews from 11 fire departments, including Chesaning, Brady and Tri-Township, responded to the fire.
The family is now homeless and told TV5 they did not have insurance.
