Couple Tied Up, Robbed During Home Invasion 4-15-2011

A Greenwood Township couple came to the Clare County Sheriff's department on Friday morning to report that they had been robbed at gunpoint.
The couple told investigators they had been sleeping in their home when they were awakened by three men standing at the foot of their bed, yelling for them to get up and follow them. The couple said the three men were all armed with what appeared to be semi-automatic handguns.
The couple said they were ordered out of bed and one burglar stood guard over them while the two others went through the home. The men asked where the jewelry, safe and money were kept. The couple said they didn't have any of those items in the house, so the men proceeded to take small items, including at least two guitars.
The couple told police that prior to leaving, the gunmen took all the phones out of the home and tied them together in their bedroom unharmed.
The Clare County Sheriff's department is asking for the public's help to track down the three men. They are described as being in their early 20s, between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing dark clothing. One man answered to the name "J."
