First Warn 5 Forecast: Wind Advisory 4-16-2011

We have on and off snow showers until this evening, and it will be windy too as a low pressure system tracks to the northeast from the Soo. In the colder air north of the Saginaw Valley there may be some wet snowflakes mixed in.
It will be windy, with frequent gusts in the 40's, especially this afternoon. Sorry to say, no warmup in sight at this point.
The peak wind gusts as of 1-pm....49 in Saginaw at 12:25, 45 in Flint at 11:52 and 45 in Ann Arbor at 12:51. All the peak gusts since 3-pm have been just under 40.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. West northwest wind 15 to 18 mph decreasing to between 7 and 10 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.
Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 46. Northwest wind at 6 mph becoming south southeast.
