Buena Vista Township Police Investigate Shooting 4-17-2011

Buena Vista Township police investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old female.
The shooting happened just before midnight on Saturday.
The young women was walking with a sister and another female friend on Walnut Street near 26th Street when they were approached by two black male teens on bikes who wanted to talk with them.
The young women then ignored the two and continued walking. Then one of the males demanded they stop. The women then heard the sounds of gunshots, hitting the 17-year-old.
She was then taken to an area hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police described the suspects as males between the ages of 16 to 18. One of the suspects was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and the other was wearing a yellow and gray hooded sweatshirt with writing on it.
