5 Firefighters Injured Battling Detroit Blaze 4-18-2011

Authorities say five firefighters have been injured while battling a blaze at a vacant commercial building on the city's southwest side.
Battalion Chief Steve Flanagan tells WXYZ-TV that three of the five were released from a Detroit hospital within hours of when they were hurt in the early Monday fire. One of the injured firefighters had an arm in a sling as the battalion chief picked them up from the hospital.
Flanagan says the other two were being held for observation.
WDIV-TV reports the injuries weren't considered life-threatening. WWJ-AM reports the fire burned for several hours.
The cause was under investigation.
