Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspect 4-26-2011

Alpena police continue to search for a man who robbed a pharmacy with several weapons and demanded narcotics.
According to a news release issued by Alpena police, the robbery occurred Monday afternoon at LaFave Pharmacy on Chisholm Street.
The suspect, who reportedly wore netting over his face during the robbery, has been identified as 41-year-old Vance Aaron Mills of Herron, Mich.
As officers responded to the call, they were advised the suspect had fled the scene.
Police said no one was injured in the incident.
Mills is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Wilson Elementary in Alpena is closed Tuesday.
Police said Mills could have changed his appearance from the provided photo.
The Alpena Police Department was assisted by units of the Michigan State Police, the Huron Undercover Narcotics Team and the Alpena County Sheriff’s Department.
