Sheriff's Deputies say a 16-year-old girl has been injured after being thrown from the hood of a moving vehicle in a southwestern Michigan school parking lot.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department said the girl was one of several people riding on the outside of a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of Ross Beatty High School in Jefferson Township.
The car was being driven by an 18-year-old man from Cassopolis.
The girl was taken to a hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported. The school is located about 75 miles southwest of Grand Rapids.
