Bystander Helps Police Nab XBox Theft Suspects 4-27-2011

A Good Samaritan dodged bullets while trying to help police arrest four alleged thieves on Wednesday.
The Bay County Sheriff’s department said it all started when the four Saginaw men ran out of the Walmart on Wilder Road after stealing 2 XBox gaming systems.
A Bay City man witnessed the incident and followed the suspects in his own vehicle. While trailing the men, he called 911 to alert police.
Authorities said one of the robbers opened fire, but the man wasn't hurt. The Bay City Times reported those shots came from a .38-caliber Colt revolver reported missing from a Bangor Township home more than 10 years ago. He followed the car until police arrived and made the arrest.
The four men, all in their early 20s, are expected to be arraigned Thursday.
