Teen Pleads Guilty In Crash That Killed 3 4-28-2011

A 17-year-old high school senior has admitted that he was intoxicated when he crashed a speeding car in the Lansing area, killing three passengers.
Brett Johnson of Dimondale pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of driving while intoxicated in the deaths of two fellow classmates and a Holt graduate.
He faces up to 15 years in prison when sentenced June 8 in Ingham County Circuit Court.
The Lansing State Journal reported he still attends the school and is expected to graduate.
Defense lawyer Rick Hillman said he expects to ask the judge to consider Johnson's youth and lack of experience.
Seventeen-year-olds Anthony Harris and Holly Bossenbery died following the Jan. 30 crash, along with 18-year-old Holt graduate Taylyr Cochran.
