Lloyd Carr Unable To Attend F'Muth Legacy Ball 4-28-2011

Lloyd Carr is working closely with the Frankenmuth Community Foundation to find a new keynote speaker for the April 30 Legacy Ball after the death of former University of Michigan and Miami Dolphins player Jim Mandich, who passed away from cancer on Tuesday at the age of 61.
Carr had been scheduled to speak at the event.
Coach Carr will attend the private Saturday evening funeral for his former player in Florida but has been assisting the foundation with alternate arrangements and will autograph memorabilia as originally planned.
Proceeds from the event go to the Frankenmuth Community Foundation.
From humble beginnings in 1976, the foundation has grown to encompass 23 funds including 13 scholarships and has disbursed over $1 million in grants back to qualified organizations in the community focusing on the core areas of Youth and Adult Leadership, Education, Recreation and Economic Growth.
Tickets to the Legacy Ball are $100 per person and are available at Frankenmuth City Hall, Satow Drug Store, Frankenmuth Credit Union and via the foundation’s website: www.frankenmuthfoundation.org.
