Flood warnings were dropped for all area rivers early Sunday, except the Saginaw River, which crested at 20.1 feet at 1am Sunday morning. Flood stage is 17 feet and the river level will drop to that on Tuesday morning.
With the opening of walleye season, boaters on the rivers need to be aware of the strong current and the large amount of debris in the water. Use caution.
Sunday Night: A chance of rain late. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. West wind between 6 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. West northwest wind between 8 and 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 34. North northwest wind between 6 and 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 52.
