LaMarr Woodley Football Camp Kicks Off June 18 5-02-2011

Saginaw native and Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowl Linebacker LaMarr Woodley will be hosting his 4th Annual Football Camp this summer, giving children of Saginaw the opportunity to learn about football from NFL players in a fun environment.
The free camp will be held Saturday, June 18 from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. at Saginaw High School. The camp provides youth ages 7 to 15 the opportunity to work on their football skills, sportsmanship and teamwork skills while building self-esteem both on and off the field.
Each participant will receive a T-shirt from Hometowne Sports, Powerade, Pretzel Crisps and lunch provided by Papa Johns. The kids will also have the opportunity to meet with Woodley and other NFL celebrities.
“I will always support Saginaw and my community,” said Woodley. “I try my best to give children in this area an opportunity to improve both on and off the field, and anytime I can make it back to do something positive for the community, I’m there.”
Camp registration begins Monday, May 2, and is currently registering the first 300 children ages 7 to 15 years old. Parents can find the registration form and waiver at Coach Donald Durrett’s office at Saginaw High. Please return all forms to Coach Durrett by June 3, no exceptions.
Parents are instructed to please keep the top half of the registration form (stamped by Saginaw High) as the confirmation, and to bring on June 18. You can also find the forms on Woodley's website, www.lamarrwoodley56.com. Camp is limited to the first 300 children, so please register early.
