Bomb Squad Called For Suspicious Package 5-04-2011

The Michigan State Police bomb squad was called out around 1 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a suspicious package call.
Witnesses saw something lying in the middle of Fisher Road, south of US 10, near Auburn.
The package was marked “do not open.” The bomb squad deployed a special robot to inspect the package and ruled it non-threatening.
Upon further investigation by the Auburn Police Department, authorities determined the bag to be a concrete sample from a highway sign installation for testing by a construction test lab.
