Officers Using Facebook To Warn Of Larcenies 5-09-2011

Saginaw Township police are warning residents to lock all doors and windows after a recent rash of break-ins.
On the department's Facebook page, a Saginaw Township police post reads, “Numerous larceny complaints in which items have been stolen from UNLOCKED vehicles open garages, and sheds have been reported the past few days.”
Police told TV5's Liz Gelardi that small-ticketed items like checkbooks, cell phones, GPS units and cameras are being targeted.
Police believe the thieves are then selling the stolen items.
In all, seven cases have been reported within the past week.
Anyone with information about the incidents or questions is asked to contact police at 989-791-7226.
