Passenger Killed In Crash; Driver In Critical 5-09-2011

An 18-year-old man was killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Arenac County, authorities said.
The sheriff’s department issued a news release Monday that said Timothy Warlick, of Sterling, was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed at about 5 a.m. on Tyler Plains Road, near Briggs Road.
The 19-year-old driver, from Twining, was transported by helicopter to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. Authorities are not releasing his name.
He was last listed in critical condition.
The news release said speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
