3 Arrested In 7 Church Burglaries, Vandalism 5-09-2011

Officials have arrested three people over the weekend who they said are responsible for burglaries in Isabella and Midland counties.
The teens, ages 13, 17 and 18, all males and from Mount Pleasant, were arrested in connection to the burglaries of seven churches, the Riverwood Resort, the Visions School, the I.C.E. Arena in Mount Pleasant, as well as the Midland Ice Arena.
The break-ins occurred between April 3 and April 19. Authorities said they expect to charge the 17- and 18 year-olds as adults. The 13-year-old will be petitioned into Probate Court.
Police said some of the stolen property was recovered, but most of it was disposed of in the Detroit area.
The case remains under investigation by the Isabella County Sheriff's Office.
