Record Wet Season In Flint, Rains Flood Roads 5-20-2011

Flint is experiencing a record-setting wet spring, and this week's rainfall has flooded yards and roads around the area.
The National Weather Service says 14.53 inches of rain fell March 1 through Thursday, a record high for the period.
The weather service says the Flint River at Flint crested Thursday afternoon 1.8 feet above flood stage, while the Shiawassee River at Owosso was 0.4 feet over flood stage and slowly falling.
More rain is in store next week.
Curtis Hudson of Genesee County's Mount Morris Township says he ran into barriers when he tried driving down Flushing Road, a major thoroughfare.
Todd Hayden is manager of Thompson Creek Turkey Farm and Cafe and says his business was cut in half Thursday.
