Family, Friends Say Goodbye To Former Soldier 5-20-2011

The funeral for former Army Spc. Daniel Weber, 25, a Purple Heart veteran, was held Friday morning.
The 2003 Frankenmuth High School graduate died from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident in El Paso, Texas, last week.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, at Cederberg Funeral Home. The funeral service followed at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola.
Patriot Guard members and local law enforcement agencies escorted Weber’s body through the funeral procession.
Weber served two tours of duty in Iraq, receiving a Purple Heart in June of 2007 when he was injured by a roadside bomb en route to his re-enlistment ceremony.
After being treated for his injuries, Weber went through with his re-enlistment later that same day.
Gifts may be made presented to Anne Weber and mailed c/o Weber Family, 4970 Hart Rd., Frankenmuth, MI 48734
