New exhibit at Saginaw's Castle Museum

Posted: Updated:

Don't let high gas prices put a damper on your summer fun.

Visitors to the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History will get a chance to visit countries around the world as part of the Museum's summer-long cultural celebrations.

The Castle Celebrates Culture takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Noon. The fun kicks off Tuesday, June 14th and ends on Thursday, August 18th.

The Museum will feature such cultures as Polish, Scottish, Greek, Indian, Native American, African American, American, Mexican, Puerto Rican and Japanese. The events include lectures, musical performances and food tastings.

All of the events include a dessert that is reflective of the culture being celebrated that particular week.

The programs are free with paid admission to the museum.
