Free admission for dads at local museum on Father's Day

Posted: Updated:

How about a day at the museum for your father on Father's Day? On Father's Day you can treat your Dad - or Grand Dad to a special afternoon by taking him to the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History. The Museum is offering free admission to all dads on Sunday, June 19.

The Museum is open on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Museum recently opened a permanent exhibit telling the story of automotive manufacturing in Saginaw. Also on display is an exhibit called Saginaw Illustrated that highlights photographs taken of Saginaw buildings in 1888.

Visitors to the Museum also will want to see our full-scale HO model railroad exhibit with more than 1000 feet of track.

The Castle Museum of Saginaw County History is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Historical Society of Saginaw County is committed to serving the community by telling the continuing story of the people of the Saginaw region through exploration, preservation, and presentation of their historical and cultural heritage.
