FLINT, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities say two more fires have been reported at vacant homes in Flint after a suspect was arrested in five of nine possible arsons earlier.

Battalion Chief Andy Graves said that crews responded to a fire at an abandoned home Tuesday evening that was quickly brought under control. He says neighbors reported seeing a man leaving the home just prior to the fire.

Graves says that early Wednesday one of the homes that burned the day before caught fire again. The cause was under investigation.

The city announced Tuesday evening that a suspect was arrested in five of what are believed to be nine arson fires that broke out early Tuesday in an eastside neighborhood.

Three firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion from battling those blazes.
