Police fundraiser being held for Special Olympics

Posted: Updated:

Law enforcement all across Michigan on the run -- for special Olympics, that is.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is held in September. Police officers from all different agencies run to help raise money for Special Olympics.

And Friday is no different.  Trooper Eric Wilber of the Michigan State Police is putting on the 8th annual "Outback Luncheon."  It will be held at the "Outback" off Tittabawassee in Kochville Township.

It starts at 11 a.m. and wraps up at 2 p.m.  It's $20.00 for adults, $10.00 for children.  The kids will love it, there will be lots of cop cars and trucks to see.  All money raised goes to Special Olympic athletes.
