A Midland man is getting ready to get quite a workout but it's all for a good cause.
Geoff Brandle is going to ride his bike from Midland to Mackinaw Island. He'll travel about 220 miles to raise money for the charity Leader Dogs for the Blind.
"I'm very excited," said Geoff Brandle.
Brandle calls his tour "See Michigan" and his goal is to raise $10,000. This is his second year biking across the state but this time his son is joining him.
"If we can raise enough money to sponsor a dog it's just one thing that we can do to help," said Brandle.
Brandle is also organizing a Leader Dog event Sunday Aug. 14 at Northwood University. There will be a three-mile awareness walk along with a resource tables, games, food, and music.
