A Saginaw pastor is facing several charges after authorities say he sexually assaulted a female family member over a period of several years.
Pastor Ulysses Garcia was in court Friday for a preliminary hearing and was bound over to circuit court for trial.
Saginaw County Prosecutor Mike Thomas said Garcia allegedly sexually assaulting a member of his family when the girl was 14. The victim is now in her early 20s and she testified in court Friday.
All told, Garcia is charged with one count of attempted first-degree criminal sexual conduct, two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of third-degree criminal sexual criminal sexual conduct.
