SAGINAW, Mich. (AP) - A memorial service is planned for the skipper of a boat who was 1 of 2 people who died after it capsized in a fierce Lake Michigan storm during the annual sailing race from Chicago to Mackinac Island.
The service for Mark Morley was scheduled for Friday afternoon at the Temple Theatre in Saginaw.
Morley was the skipper of the Saginaw-based WingNuts. Crew member Suzanne Bickel also died after the 35-foot craft overturned around midnight July 17.
Six crew members were rescued.
Bickel's funeral was last week.
