Couple in 50s killed backing out of drive in Thumb

MOORE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in Michigan's rural Thumb say a couple were killed when they backed out of a driveway and into the path of an oncoming vehicle.

The Sanilac County Sheriff's Department says that the crash happened about 10 a.m. Sunday. The crash site is in Moore Township, near Sandusky.

The victims are identified as 54-year-old Dan and 55-year-old Polly Frost, of Sandusky.

The sheriff's department says 34-year-old Brennon Miller of Sandusky was driving the oncoming vehicle. There's no word on whether he was hurt.

The sheriff's department said it didn't have any information for release Sunday evening.
