Top 5 On 5: Winner of area’s best Omelette is….

Hundreds of people nominated their favorite Mid-Michigan place to get a Omelette in this week's edition of Top 5 on 5.

Before we announce the winner, let's look back at the five locations you nominated the most.

In no particular order, here are your Top 5 on 5:

  • Ruby J's Red Lion Diner, Bay City
  • Tony's, Saginaw
  • Bringer Inn, Saginaw
  • Morning at Maggie's Omelette Shoppe, Bay City
  • Boulevard Lounge, Midland

After all the votes were counted, Rudy J's Red Lion Diner in Bay City was voted as having the best omelette in Mid-Michigan -- with 29.1 percent of the vote.

Bringer Inn in Saginaw came in second with 18 percent of the vote and Tony's in Saginaw rounded out the top 3.

On Monday, TV5 will launch our next quest to find the Top 5 on 5 as we announce the next phase of our newest segment on WNEM TV5 Wake-Up.
