It's the most wonderful time of the year . . . football season is finally here!
My favorite league is the NFL, and every year I like to make predictions on how I think the season will play out:
I think Houston will go 10-6, Indy will do 8-8, Tenn 5-11 and Jax 5-11.
Baltimore will do 12-4, Pitt 11-5, Cle 6-10 and Cin 2-14.
New England will go 12-4, NYJ 11-5, Buffalo 6-10 and Miami 5-11.
I think San Diego will do 10-6, KC 9-7, Oak 7-9 and Den 3-13.
AFC Playoff teams: New England, Baltimore, San Diego, Houston, Pittsburgh, NY Jets
AFC Champion: Baltimore
Meanwhile, Philly will pull off an 11-5 season, Dallas 10-6, NY Giants 9-7 and Washington 6-10.
Green Bay will do 11-5, Detroit 9-7, Chicago 8-8 and Minnesota 6-10.
New Orleans 11-5, Atlanta 10-6, Tampa Bay 9-7 and Carolina 3-13.
And lastly, Arizona 8-8, St. Louis 6-10, San Francisco 6-10 and Seattle 5-11
NFC Playoff teams: Green Bay, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Arizona, Atlanta, Dallas
NFC Champion: Dallas
Super Bowl: Dallas over Baltimore
I chose Dallas and Baltimore to make the Super Bowl, but could also see Pittsburgh, New England, Green Bay, Atlanta, New Orleans, or Philly making it as well. Those 8 are the elite teams this season with San Diego, Houston, Detroit, Chicago, Tampa Bay, and the New York Jets on the level underneath them.
